Aaron Burdette is a writer/performer (the legendary “Double Threat”) from Mississippi and Alabama, who recently served as Executive Producer and Showrunner (the legendary “Double Threat”) on the 5th season of STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS (Paramount+). His past credits include Co-Executive Producer on the adult animated series CLOSE ENOUGH (HBO Max), for which he was nominated for a 2021 Annie Award, as well as MAN SEEKING WOMAN (FXX) and INSIDE JOB (Netflix). He additionally developed and sold two comedy pilots, EVERYTHING'S UNDER CONTROL and ARE WE OK, both at ABC. He simply adores listing his work credits as if that is all life is about.
Aaron also spent two years as a New York City crossing guard, which was a pretty weird job where cab drivers tried to kill him all the time.
